A Life Transformed: The Power of Surrender to Jesus
I don’t even have words for what God is doing right now… but I’m so grateful.
A couple of weeks ago, CJ and I went on a prayer walk around our church campus. At a bus stop nearby, we met a family walking through a really tough season. We stopped, listened, and prayed. Since then, we’ve been able to see them a few more times and stay connected.
Yesterday, they came to church with us.
Our guest speaker shared a clear, powerful gospel message. After the service, I asked the husband what he thought. He said it really impacted him and that it was as if the speaker was talking directly to him.
So I asked if he was ready to surrender his life to Jesus, and he said yes. CJ prayed with him and then encouraged him to pray too. Right there, he shared a beautiful prayer of surrender. 🙏
Praise God!
Moments like this remind me that it isn’t about our effort. Lately, it feels like all we do is show up, and God does the rest. I believe this is the fruit of dying to ourselves, fasting, praying, and listening to the Holy Spirit. Only He knows who is ready.
And I can’t wait to see what He does next.
We are praying that these seeds will take root in good soil and bear fruit—thirty, sixty, even a hundredfold (Matthew 13:23).
