Something God whispered to me in my prayer closet today...

"Shelley, give it all to Me. Worry doesn’t help anyone or anything. But prayer changes everything."

I realized I had slipped into worrying about a family I was supposed to be praying for—instead of actually praying. (Anyone else been there? 😂)

Thank You, Lord, for always drawing me back to You when my thoughts start to wander.

He reminded me that what I try to carry can eventually crush me. I was never meant to shoulder other people’s problems or fix them on my own.

Does anyone else need this reminder today to cast all your cares—and the people you love—on the Lord? (1 Peter 5:7)
